this is a poem i wrote at the end of what was a trying time. please rate this poem.
And there's a sadness in his smile,
There is a shadow in his light.
He has always been a pretty butterfly,
but always ill feelings blow back,
like waves in the night on distant shores.
Dancing like Ravens in the air,
wishing that he were free under the moon,
so never again could a wild flower,
insult a beauty gallant, so fragile.

A pain cuts deep raining vices,
and silently a bloody tear falls,
and your sadness becomes a white powder.
Insanity reins, snuffing the sparkle in your eyes
Look into the mirror, look at the white swan,
as magestic as you used to be.
Wishing for darkness to begone, trying to keep,
smiling at the sun, trying to stop,
the beasts that are screaming in your head.

Only Vampires may sleep where I make my home,
where the colours of life fade on the wind.
Here I am Prince of dreams, then you dreamed me.
You blow winds with no pain sailing upon them,
and cast shadows that no longer acost,
the children who have been led astray.
Yes you dreamed me a starchild, no longer lost,
no longer a fade living in the shadows,
with vices, you set me free and now I smile.
