He Taught Me How to Love

Poem for RAOK contest

He was the one to teach me
the wonderful joys of life
and the art of loving
Unconditionally.

He usually knows exactly
what I need to hear
when I am down
and reassures me
that I will feel better soon.

Everyday, I learn from him
how to love another
with positive regard
I can now give love to another.

The wonderful acts of kindness
he showed me when I was down
I can now give to another
as the chain keeps growing and growing
and maybe someday it will go full circle.

Love to him who taught me to Love
and then Love another
as he Loved me.
