A poem for those who dont forget |
| As I drift away in my thoughts of yesterday, my soul begins to tremble. The darkness that filled the crisp clear day overtakes my spirit, recalling the smokey air. The burdens that lay in my heart of what should have been, still engraved as though it was yesterday. Blinded by the pain, trying to erase it from my visions. Do they truly know the devastation they have caused with their deeds? Or was it that they did not care? What should have been a time filled with the laughter of innocence, became that of nightmares One single act they made will be buried deep in my soul for eternity. An act that will not be forgotten, not forgiven. Ruth Williams |
