A poem about my relationship with a friend who constantly abused me
You

Your laugh pricks my eyes
and the tears I've fought back
for so long come washing back
the rivers too deep to die

a smile on your face
makes my stomach heave
I want to vomit
I need to leave this place

I glare at my feet
a smirk creeps across my lips
as a sinister thought whips
through a mind I can't beat
