My trouble with writing

I've always been afraid to let people see my work.

For as long as I can remember, I have had a desire to write. The trouble has always been writers' block. I don't have a single clue what to put on paper. I could write about my life experiences, but if certain family members read it, I could be in some deep doo doo. With that said, what could I write about? I could write about my pet peeves. I have a load of those. I could write about some of the nutty people I know. Nah, there's the deep doo doo problem to contend with. I could write about the time I almost drowned. Actually, I almost drowned twice. I guess I could write about how I should have taken swimming lessons. I could also write about how I dealt with my sister's death. If I'm brave enough, I could write about my life experiences. I can take on that deep doo doo, can't I? My problem with writing actually isn't that I don't know what to write. It's the readers' opinion of what I write. I've always been afraid to let people see my work. What if they don't like it? What if they think it's stupid? What if they think I'm stupid?

Well, wish me luck. I'm getting ready to dive deep into the deep deep doo doo.
