I wrote this on 3/21/04. It isn't very good, but I needed to write it.
As I look into your lovely eyes
I feel emotions I despise
I fell into this trap once more
Straight girl, one that I adore.

Dark eyes let me see your heart
Your lips are tearing me apart
Smile, let me see your teeth
The mask that helps you hide your grief.

Your boyfriend holds you in his arms
He keeps you safe with honest charms
I cannot love you, I refuse
My heart cannot withstand this bruise.

When you go your presence stays
It’s in my head; I’m in a daze
Rest assured I will not try
To say more than the word “Goodbye.”
