as if nothing has changed
Walk again into the furor of that? Step squarely, once more, upon the fire, now stamped out but smoldering, hot and dangerous still? As if nothing has changed, not transpired did any of it; the words, the anger, arguing incessant, control, denial, refusal. Impropriety heaped upon common decency occluding all, morality dragged through phlegm filled emotional turbulence; without rest.

Query put, placed there awaiting response. Easy answers not existent and too soon does the rush return. No buoyancy to stay afloat and underneath the dark cover the only escape.
