Ever seeking peace and love.

Light

Once I was a
carefree soul,
joyous in the
living of life.

Dark clouds
moved into
my world
and settled
into my heart.

I longed to
be comforted
by the gentle
touch of love.

To be fulfilled
in the knowledge
that someone
was there.

I look towards
a better day,
one in which
skies are clear
and peaceful.
