Grief

Tearful on the night you left,
you never said goodbye.
World turned black, heart went numb,
all I could do was cry.

Remembering the times we shared,
the good ones and the bad.
Grief far too much to bear
the only emotion to be had.

Moved on now to brighter days
to overcome the pain.
Searching for someone to trust
and chase away the rain.
