in that world only you
Dreams. All this life have I loved them, waited for such, and always knew that sleep would bring something good, special; nightmares rare and even they added excitement and brilliance to sometimes dull reality. Colors or black and white? The question has been asked and distinguish not can I in my versions although the experiences are not diminished by that inability to see.

I think of you more in sleep than anyone I have ever known and almost regularly you are a leading player. Never coarse, or harsh are you then, no suspicion nor name calling comes from you. Strong and sweet and comforting except when I cannot find you there, although you linger outside the fringes of that world. I search for you then, lonely and afraid without you. Your return always bring joy, laughter, and smiles, kisses and touch. No trepidation is there of your next attack, accusation, bizarre reaction to innocuous event(s). Awake and aware brings doubt and worry of when the next eruption will explode but not at night, when the eyes are closed. There, you are the champion, the prince, and all is right.
