Two middle-aged women
Laughing
Frolicking
Like schoolgirls
Outside our own
Tiny cottage
We call home.

I lay with you today:

Two feminine bodies
Less firm
More full
Yet no less delicious
Than our first time
Many years ago.


I prayed with you today:

Two souls intertwined
In praise
In awe
Of a glorious God
That created two,
You for me and me for you.
