This is a poem about a friend. I would very much like some constructive criticism on it.
Wind blowing softly on my face
As I bid you goodbye
Enjoy this kiss
It will be our last

I want to leave some words
To help you on your way
It’s the only thing I have to give
But today they don’t come out

If I said, I never loved you
Well that would be a lie
In my life I found peace
Just being in your arms

You’re taking with you
Most of my support
I can’t hold it against you
That wouldn’t be fair

Right now, I’ll say
You’ll be sorely missed in my life
I'll find a way to go on
Hurting as much as I do

So give me one last kiss
As I stumble on my words
These few weeks were great
Though only for a moment
