Tootsie Roll Pops

The Spotted Owl is endangered because of the tootsie roll pop.

How many licks does it take
To get to the Tootsie roll center
Of a Tootsie roll pop?
One, Two, a Three..
At least that is what the owl said.
When I was five, I broke three teeth
Trying to prove that wise owl wrong.
I knew I could do it in two licks
Or 2 bites, what ever came first.
Never made it
And still I am pissed
But I laugh every time
I see that spotted owl
Is on the endangered species list.
