God Love

A poem inspired by 1 Corinthians 13:4-5. Help! I need a better ending.

Perfect God love
Is impossible to achieve
Deep down
It’s what every soul needs

It lasts
Selfishness doesn’t exist
No thoughts of only me

Not pure romance
God and friendship
Are also apart of the key

Its definition
Serving
Sacrificing
And commitment
Are only the beginning

Being honest
Like a true friend
Anger is slow in coming
Envy has no say

Describing perfectly
The perfect
Is impossible

So this is my attempt
