Three little words
I hadn't a clue
The power they'd have
Spoken out of the blue.

Three little words
You said with a grin
It was a shock to me
My head put in a spin.

Three little words
I thought not to hear
You spoke them aloud
And I hold them dear.

Three little words
That made me cry
Tears stream down
Though I don't know why.

Three little words
Have brightened my day
Fears and doubts
Were chased away.

Three little words
I give back to you
With one small addition
I love you too.

This poem was written August 8th, 2004. It was inspired by a very dear friend, and you know who you are. Thank you very much for you help and support, but most of all, I thank you for your love. This poem is also intended to honor those friends that have helped me whenever I have been depressed.
