To A Lad Trying

You who see yourselves as striving for a goal,

Heed my warnings but do not be discouraged.

In order for you to succeed you must be persistatant.

At times you may have to be stubborn.

Sometimes trying is not sufficient enough to succeed,

But indeed without trying you will always fail.

Be aware that you may encounter problems,

But only you can decide whether they are failures

or setbacks.

Success is not only awarded to those who succeed,

But also to those why tried and are still trying,

to succeed.
