They Say You’re Gone

They say you’re gone
I say you’re here
They say it’s over
I keep you near
They boxed you up
I keep you free
They buried the shell
I keep you in me
They say move on
I stand in place
They say time heals
I see no trace
They mouth the words
I feel the pain
They say you’re gone
I call your name
