My Gift

A poem I wrote for my girlfriend's mother's day gift...

My babygirl, who God Almightly sent to me

To love and cherish for eternity,

The first day I met you, I fell in love,

Who would know what splendor came from above.

God put my hand in yours forever

So I marry this girl from heaven,

And send you a Mother's Day present:

This little poem to show,

I love you more than you'll ever know.
