Stuck

Just another quicky about being stuck in a dead end relationship

Dull and stupid safeguard love,
a life without the bite,
Coping without the adrenalin rush,
he gives in 'cos i'm always right.

Lesser in mind, a weak conversation,
a grunt and a nod here and there,
I feel so unused to this bland situation,
I seem to forget that he cares.

This is my choice, yet he's anything but,
I forget how I needed to cry,
I can't miss the pain, or the fear or the smut,
So I guess i'll stay here 'till I die.
