This poem obviously describes my special someone who now belongs to someone else

The mere presence of you makes me weak,
your words though simple makes me giddy,
the mere brush of your hand gives me a shiver,
the sound of your voice makes me catch my breath,
your sweet messages made my heart thump wild.

I have known you for a time,
you who showed me who you really are,
and it's you that I fall over and over again.

Time came when I had to realize that
everything I want is not to happen.
You had someone in your life now,
I had to keep myself from crying and tell everyone
that I'm okay.
But I couldn't ignore the pain until
I had to allow my tears to fall.

So everyone thought I was fine...
Everyone thought I moved on...
What they didn't know was that I'm not...
Until I saw the truth of what I felt.

Yet I have no right...
No right to fight for that love...
All I have to do is wait...
Wait for that time...
That very moment...
For you to open your heart
and be mine.
