Echoes of old love.
SILENT ECHOES

Vast and open sky above,
Snowy mountains all around,
As amidst the valley pines,
Listening to the chirping sound

Of the birds that freely glide
Effortless in gentle air,
In the nature’s solitude,
Away from the worldly glare,

Where I am the only soul,
What do I suddenly hear?
Silent echo from the past,
A soft whisper in my ear!

Lilting melodious tune
Of that song, from days of yore,
Which you did sing here long back
In your voice so sweet and pure!

Welcome back again my love!
Welcome is your memory!
Welcome at this very place,
Where we penned our love story.

Rest, my love, in serene peace,
I won’t call and disturb you.
In my heart you are engraved,
As I am in your heart too.
