Someone I met and thought we were meant to be

Seeing her from afar
Knowing not what to expect
Closer to me she gets
Closer to her I move
Looking at her thinking
Have I done this before
Maybe I have.

Holding her hand
Feeling the connection
Again thinking
Have I dreamt this before
Maybe I have.

But just maybe
We were meant to be.
