"Lost Time"

I did not take advantage of what my future offered.

"Lost Time"

My mind wanders back to yesterdays in the sun.
When I was so young living a life made for one.
My dreams of the future surely was coming true.
Not a day would find me depressed or even blue.

For me the world always been a big piece of cake.
I would eat until full and all my stomach would take.
Eat what I could while I was able and still young.
Day dream in the middle of the day and have fun.

All this happened when I was a teen in my youth.
I don't want to admit it, but sadly that is the truth.
No responsibility did I want to take or I ever had.
Because of my failures I'm now alone and sad.

I hope tomorrow will get better without the rain.
If I must overcome these misfortunes with pain.
So then I will fight all the way until another day.
Capture the lost time I once lost along the way.

I can't live my life over and redo what's I've done.
I'll try to have good times in a life under the Sun.
Life won't be easy now for I know what's to come.
I'll give it my all and change my life to have fun.
