Take Away

This is something I wrote pertaining to a good friend...

A midnight run to give her a hug
And when we snuggle up
I feel like her angel body guard
She has it so hard,

I want to take her pain away
But I think it's there to stay
I would easily bear this burden with her
Only if I could,

She says she forgets it all
When I hold her in my arms
But I think she's just throwing a curve ball
I hate having her always in harms way,

A midnight run
It's not so fun
But for her anything
To take away the sting.
