The Boy

A poem for the one who changed me deeply.

The girl lays on her bed
Thinking to herself of the boy she met
The one she has created a sort of fondness for
The boy who left her wanting to know more
She can't stop thinking of him
She can't stop wanting him
He has captured her heart
And kept her from wanting to be in the dark
He's changed her though he does not even realize
He's pulled her from the thoughts of suicide
Driven away all her insecurities
Destroyed all her her uncertainties
He's brought some light in her life
If only she could have him forever by her side
Then her life would be complete
Finally living out her fantasy
