New Found Hope

I tried to outrun my fears,
But then again,
It just brought me right here,
So far yet so near.

I was all alone and in despair,
That’s when I thought it wasn’t fair,
They came out to mock me,
Something tells me no one cares.

Despite my rights,
I’ve lost my might,
Along with what’s mine,
Shutting out the lights.

I hid in the darkness,
Living in the loneliness,
On and on, reviving my mind,
My thoughts broke out first.

I was hurt again and again,
By shocks I can’t defend,
The feelings swept right through me,
I knew it would never end.

Going though this ordeal,
I need the time to heal,
Just then, a smile broke out
It showed me someone new,
