Romantic Poem

My days passed by with cool shades of gray
Cool like in fall, before the night turns to day

Warm thoughts of you, color what my eyes see
Now I won’t let the days just roll by me

When I look in your eyes, I need you more
You make my world better, better than before

My breath is stolen by the windows to your soul
A new friend and lover, we glance as we stroll

We all stroll along, our direction unknown
Visiting new places, no longer alone

The taste of your kiss, the touch of your skin
Getting hard to keep my feelings within

Feelings so good, they make my head spin
Want to take you places that you’ve never been

Now it’s been said, and now we are here
Things still all fuzzy, but beginning to clear

Days turn to weeks, and weeks into years
But being with you, removes all my fears

Who knows where this leads, this stroll we are on
