Daily I do pray

This daily prayer has kept me living.

Daily I do pray

As I open my eyes to the day.
I always try to stop and pray.
I ask to be forgiven.
So I can go on living.
I ask for good health.
As it's the only wealth.
Praying for him to release.
A time for us to receive peace.

Praying a bit longer.
So I can be a bit stronger.
Some things I ask you to teach.
And to others I will preach.
Teach me to forgive.
So I can have more to give.
take away the fears.
Peace I seek not more tears.

In Jesus’ name I did pray.
Now all I have to say.
Is thank You God.
For I know you are no fraud.
You taught me to forgive.
I know for I continue to live.

And now I face my last fear.
Lack of someone to be near.

Through my poems I will try to reach.
So tell me lord what to teach.
As I wait for the day.You,
My lord will take me away.
