This is a poem to show appreciation to all our soldiers,past and present!

Memorial Day Tribute

Today is the day, we remember our soldiers,
The ones' who so bravely, put guns to their shoulders!

Who slept on the ground, whether cold or hot,
Who faced our enemies, while in danger of being shot!

There were those that were wounded, but made it home alive,
There were others not so lucky, that did'nt survive!

They fought for our rights, as well as our freedom,
In our country,towns and cities, you will see them!

Military bases,markets and factories, living right here,
Those who so bravely, marched on regardless of fear!

Lets give honor to the ones, the rest will carry,
The ones who rest forever, in our countrys cemetaries!

We are so thankful, and we hope that it shows,
Thank GOD for our soldiers, our countrys HEROS!
