To the Moon and Back

Wrote this for my girlfriend for Valentine's Day. My first attempt at a love poem.

I was wishing on a star one night,
And dreaming of eternal love.
Chasing all the rays of light to find
My heart, my soul, my completion.
There you were, my Gemini,
Riding the waves of Aquarius.
You pulled me to your heart
Through dusky, moonlit skies.
Making our journey together with the
Hum of Venus whispering in our ears.
Conjured up by greater forces,
A love created beyond the clouds.
Our paths were meant to cross,
Long ago written by the moon and tides.
Kissed with the spell of forever,
Fate has made us more than soul mates.
We are bound for always by a love
That reaches to the moon and back...
