Queen of the Nile

A dream that you wish to be real.

Have you ever had a dream
That seemed so real
But was interupted before a kiss
A prince was about to steal
I have
I dream once in a while
That i'm walking By the Nile
Dressed in Egyptian style
And by my side is a handsome man
Who's so tenderly holding my hand
As we stop to sit in the sand
While we watch the slow sun set
Tears of joy make my face wet
As night approaches it grows colder
For warmth he puts him arm on my shoulder
Soon darkness covers the beautiful space
Then i wake up in my New York place
Even as real as it seemed
I know it was only a dream
Then I shout "This isn't fair"
Alas I see ther is sand everywhere
