For Mama

When I was sad, you made me happy.
When I lost faith, you returned it to me.
When I gave into the dark, you dragged me back to the light.
When I was scared, you told me everything would be alright.
When things got hard, you helped me through them.
Now you've gone and disappeared into Heaven.
I hope you can still see me from up there,
And that you're with me everywhere.
I hope you can still hold me high,
Like a comet in the sky.
I can still feel you when I dance,
I always want to see you're glance.
I know you're here to help me choose correctly,
And soon all my mistakes, I will see.
And though you're no longer here for me to tell you,
Thank you, I will always love you.
I never knew how much I needed you until you went away,
I hope the we can be together again, some day.
