the willow tree

this is dedicated to somone in my life that i missed the most important times

i wished that you were here with me,
as i sit under the willow tree.
the sun is shining on my face ,
as i sit alone in this beautiful place.
oh! this moment i would love to share ,
as i pause to breathe in lifes fresh air
nothing feels more free ,
as i sit under this beautiful tree.
i wish you were here as the days go by ,
i look up through the branches and see the clear blue sky.
maybe one day we will stop and listen.
and when it rains watch the tree glisten.
this is the most beautiful pace to be ,
as i sit under the willow tree.
