A love I never knew
Till I laid eyes on you
The way you twirl your hair
And how you show you always want me there

I see me in your eyes
It comes as no surprise
Half of me is in you
I feel whole when with you two

The smallness of your hand in mine
Wish you could stay that way for all time

You are growing ,oh so fast
I wish your childhood would last

As you grow I will be there
To hold you through good and bad
I hold the power to wipe the tears
And for that I will always be glad

For two so small, you have given me more
Than I ever thought possible in the world before.
