Old Uncle Fred,
Back before he was dead
Had a reputation for being waggish,
As well as a patriot for you see
He was also extremely flaggish..
For always would a flag he wave
With a determination pugnatious
And on this subject he would dwell,
In fact was most loquacious!
For everyone should wave a flag
And show for all to see
That we support our country fair
And that freedom isn’t free!
