Personal Experience and Regret Afterwards

I have questioned your love, and for that I have dearly paid.
I have betrayed your trust and for that I lost you.
I have questioned your loyalty and for that I am now alone.
I have betrayed and cheated on the love that you have shown and for that I am no longer apart of your life.
I have lied and deceived to your heart and for that mine is breaking.
I have caused suspicion and for that my soul weeps to its very depths.
I have caused your beautiful heart and soul to question all that you believe in and for that I have won.
All that I have done was a lie spoken from your own lips.
I have loved a demon and for that I have become weak and unable to fight the enclosing darkness.
I have lost…for now.
I will rise again with fortitude, will,and love in my heart and it shall not be yours.
