Leading the way
To our fondest treasures
The beauty of illusions
Showing us all we want to see
Believing themselves immortal

To the sense of the moment
They truly are
Unworthy of Death
Yet only God can tell
The road our feet will journey
The fables we'll have to tell
Our dreams;
Only guidelines of our desires

Mere coins to water,
Escaping the current
And sinking
To discover the depths
Of the flowing river
Our prayers;
Heard
Answered and unanswered
Continuously traveling infinitively
To the One and Only ...
Shadows of life
Forever illuminated
In the sunlight of our minds
