Heaven

A poem about my view of heaven

The gentle waves under the morning sun
The gentle breeze of a steady run
What's said is said and done is done
A new step of life has now begun

You hear the voices of everyone
Running down to greet their son
Life’s woes that once had weighed a ton
Are now complete and finally done

You walk into the bright new sun
All life’s troubles have turned to none
Peace and Perfection no longer pun
Surrounded by only love and fun

From life’s troubles you have won
Perfection beyond a mortal stun
What’s said is said and done is done
Your life’s complete and you are one
