I cannot

Just a poem

I cannot dream anymore
Because when I did
I was ridiculed fro dreaming
And eventually
I lost my faith
In dreams

I cannot love anymore
Because when I did
The ones I loved decided
My heart was expendable
And broke it off
Piece by piece

I cannot see anymore
Because when I did
I saw things I never
Want to see again
Such as losing
As friend

I cannot believe anymore
Because when I did
What I believe in
Was not what I thought
I believed in
It was all lies

I cannot care anymore
Because when I did
What I cared for
Soon became what I despised
Now I could careless

I cannot think anymore
Because when I did
Whatever I though was downsized
Now I only think
Inside the box

I cannot be anymore
Because when I was
I only existed in my mind
AND now I am slowly
Drifting away
Into an empty space
