What do you leave unspoken???

Another word goes unspoken
Another story has been ignored
Another life worth living
That should have been adored

Another life lost to silence
Words that should have been said
Have been simply forgotten
All happiness has fled

Why couldn't someone say, "I love you"
Or plant a kiss on top of his head
Why didn't anyone notice
His life was full of dread

Now that life is only a whisper
Deep inside their heart
He reminds them of what should have been
Before his life fell apart
