Will They Hear?

Depressed teen turns to suicide after getting no attention..very short poem.

Every cut deepens
Every step crumbles
But all they hear
Are her gentle mumbles

Will they hear
Her scream and cry
Will they listen?
Or will she die

They say "Give her time"
And that she will pull through
Well we all doubt that
Because she is tired of you

Standing there silently
As blood drips from the knife
Why should she think of
How to continue life
