One Kiss

A song/poem I wrote August 2000. I know this is old but I haven't written in a while.

Take one kiss and walk out of my life
Have one last touch and be done with us
Look at me one last time with your beautiful eyes

Say good-bye and don't look back
For I don't want you to see me cry
Shut the door and leave the memories behind
Tonight is how I want to remember you.

Our lives wil change in the next few days
I never wanted us to part ways
So kiss me good-bye and be done with it
Tonight is when it all must end.

So I'll steal that last kiss as a closure of us
Take one last touch of your soft face
Stare into your beautiful eyes
And dream that one day, we'll be together again.
