"now and forever"

In-Between

We have got so "bottled up"
in our "day to day" routine,
that we rarely take the time
just to live the "in between".
-
From early in the morning
till the time we go to bed,
we're in a constant struggle
as we try to "get ahead".
-
And lying in the middle
of our scattered "left behind"
are all the cherished treasures
we have worked so hard to find.
-
Yes we are all so busy
in our search to find "the green"
we completely overlook
what we have here "in between".
-
But in between the morning
and the closing of our day,
will have been "no use" to us
if we throw it all away.
