Unwilling Tears

Deep feelings of hurt

I get this feeling deep down,
A painful stab, a leaking heart.
My heart is crying.
On the outside my eyes are dry.
Nothing flows like it should,
Like it needs to.
So much needs to be relieved.
I feel like I'm falling to pieces,
Never to be put back together.
I can feel the tears swelling up inside.
They will help but I keep resisting.
My thoughts are fighting the tears.
It sends me in different directions,
I'm spinning in circles, getting dizzy.
As the room spins, I feel...
I feel the tears once again.
The tears of my heart that will never stop flowing.
