A poem with a rap feel that poured out of my head awhile ago.

Looking in your eyes
I can see my demise
Am I fated
to be jaded
by you
who
I can't escape
because you captivate
me
I can feel myself drown
in those deep shades of brown
within those mesmerizing
tantalizing
windows into your body, mind and soul
I'm losing control
baby, rescue me
end my insanity
please leave my life
before I can't deny
that you've seeped, so deep
into my bloodstream
Coursing through my veins
your in my brain
under my skin
breaking me from within
stop
and drop this game
release your claim
I've seen it before
and I can't ignore
the voice from inside
telling me not to slide
too far into you
and let you woo
my walls away
then go astray
leaving my heart to break
crack
and then I can't go back
I can't take that pain
so let me make this plain
and crystal clear
don't make me shed a tear
I'll be good for you
I'll be with you through
thick and thin
lose or win
It's not much I demand.
Respect me, I'm yours if you can.
