The Need


This is the story of youth,
his worth was proved by his deed.
He had to seek out the truth,
it was time for a new creed.

Ambition is a strong trait,
ideas flowed like a stream.
Father's strength he'd imitate,
the results were still unseen.

Later, troubled in his mind,
everything seems so in doubt.
Now he's started to unwind,
youth leaves as his time runs out.

The need does repeat itself,
new youth starts as the old stops.
Old thoughts are stored on a shelf,
as the young show us what they've got!
