Life has a funny way of evening out

Again this story is short, but i guess that's what short stories are supposed to be.

Could anything else possibly go wrong on what has to be the worst day of my life. I lost my wallet, my car was stolen, I had to cancel my holiday to Bermuda because my passport was out of date, I’ve just been diagnosed with cancer and to top it all off, this morning I woke up in bed with my mother. The only positive is that she did look satisfied.
