i would see the start of the day
the morning dew on the leaves and
flowers
all of life awaking.

i would see the glows of reds, oranges,
and yellows crossing the oceans waves.

i would awaken couples together and
watch them look lovinly into each
others eyes.

i would watch you watching me
and protect you through the morning time.

i wouldn't leave you in the clouds,
but in the warmth of my sunny face.

with a smile and warm touch upon
