Entry for if I or you competition

If you could be
The river,
Flowing free
Would you wash away
The pains of my day?
Would you allow
The sweat on my brow
To continue to fall
Into a pool
Of blood, sweat and tears?
If you saw my burning ears
Could you take the heat?
Would you let them treat
Me in such a way,
Adding to the pains of my day.

If the river you could be
Flying fast, flying free
Could you fly by
as I sat and cried
on your empty bank?
If my face was blank
Devoid of emotion
Would you take me to the ocean?
