I was thinking about a movie called "The Ghost and the Darkness"

Man-eater

Death dwells in the blackest lair,
mayhem lay around the beast.
Both the hunter and the slayer,
sought out his terrible feast.

Strewn remnants cover dirt floors,
torn flesh and bone of the past.
Victims from the weeks before,
sacrificed to end his fast.

Putrid smell of fear and death,
hapless struggles of the vain.
Sleeping beast of foulest breath,
resting silent with their remains.

Killing for the pure pleasure,
the predator eyes' his prey.
Taking in it's full measure,
when the night befalls the day.

Terror lurks just out of sight,
for it craves the blood of man.
Death stalks on into the night,
the lion walks an ancient land.

In the grassy plains of Africa,
he will haunt your waking dreams.
The vicious cold killer attacks
in the black of night, unseen.
